All about Savannah

Savannah is so cute!! I absolutely love this little friend. She loves her voice and I will often wake up in the morning to a little friend just chatting away! I love getting her up in the morning because she greets me with a HUGE smile and you can tell she is excited to see me. When we put her down for a nap she also gives you the same big smile.
Sav displaying her sitting skills!

I thought I would give you some excerpts from her journal

* Sav loves to rotate in her crib. The best spot is when her head is touching the bumper ever so slightly. Who knows why she does this, but no matter how I lay her in her crib when I come back her head is always touching the bumper.
* Sav loves her toes. Whenever I come to get her in the morning she always has her feet straight up in the air and is playing with her toes. Looking back at pictures a dead give away on who is who can all be determined by who has their feet up in the air :)

* Savannah has found a new trick. She has learned how to growl! I love it! I even had a growling competition with her today. Of course she won because I broke out laughing.
* Savannah is so funny. She seriously loves her voice and all the cool sounds it can make. Today she was sitting in the jungle, just yelling/talking away. It was so cute! I wonder what she is trying to say. Ben often tells me that Sav got the Allan gene's in terms of her voice because she is VERY LOUD!

* Savannah and I were cuddling this afternoon as I was trying to get a few more minutes of sleep. Savannah would reach over and gently touch my face. She was so soft in how she would touch my cheeks. Such a cutie!! Even though I didn't get any more sleep. I loved it!!
* Savannah is obsessed with people's cheeks. Whenever I get done feeding her and am standing her up to burp. She takes her hands and places them on my cheeks and proceeds to squeeze! Sometimes she is more gentle than others. She always has a HUGE smile on her face so who could really get mad. Plus, she thinks it is funny :).
* Savannah loves it when you sing. She will get this big grin on her face. It is nice because whenever she is upset you can just sing to her and she will smile at you. When I was trying to get Savannah to look at me for her physical therapy, I added two new songs to my repertoire. They were "Barbra Ann" and "The Scat Man". They love the "B" sounds and all the randoms sounds in the "Scat Man". Just so you know they were INSTANT hits. Sav would get this big grin on her face and laugh. Love it!! Another favorite is "Baa Baa Black sheep". Sav really isn't picky she just likes songs.
* In Sunday school, Savannah saw this cute little girl sitting behind us and she was entranced. She kept on staring. She would then turn from side to side to see all the people she could. The funny thing is that she wouldn't smile, but she would just stare. After church when I was carrying Sav down the hall, Ben said she was smiling so big at everyone that we passed. She is such a happy girl!
I'm just chill, Mom!
* Sav is such a silly girl. Every time I sit her on my lap facing towards me she loves to lean forward and practically touch her toes and push off my chest/stomach. She thinks this is so funny and gets a huge grin on her face most times.

* Sav was super cute as I was laying down by her as she woke up from her nape (she was on the floor). She would reach her hand over and I would kiss the top of her hand. She would do it again and I would kiss her hand and she would get a big grin on her face. This continued for several minutes. Love it!
Sav talking to Mom
* Sav was playing with this singing book that the girls got for Christmas. If you push the buttons on each page it will sing. Sav thought this was fantastic and would break out into a huge grin whenever I would push her hand down on the button and the music would play. Each time she pushed the button and the music would play she would get a very large grin on her face. I need to get a video of this.
