At the end of March we headed up to Logan three weekends in a row. Now some might ask why cram it in all at once. Well to answer your question that wasn't our intention but it ended up turning out that way. We headed up once so I could go to my sister-in-laws baby shower. It was fun to go and spend time with Ben's family. We had scrumptious food at the shower and we were able to enjoy the wonderful spring weather.
The next weekend I headed up to Logan alone. My brother-in-laws have a tradition of every year going to the NCAA tournament. This year the sweet sixteen was held in SLC, so they got tickets and the boys went to the games. The girls spent the weekend at my parents house. It was so much fun to spend time with the girls and the nieces and nephews. It had been way to long since I had seen them. I think the last time was Thanksgiving/Christmas.
Since it was the week before Easter we decided to have an Easter Egg hunt in the backyard for the kids. It was so much fun to go out and hide all the eggs. We had to hide eggs differently for all different skill levels. With Zach and Brooke we could be a little bit more creative in how we hid the eggs. We hid them in trees (lower branches), in the flower beds, and in the sandboxes. For Drew we had to be a little bit more obvious, we would hide them in the snow, or on benches. It was definitely fun to watch the kids find their eggs and place it in their Easter basket.
The next weekend we came up for General Conference. Overall it was an excellent month and it was great to be able to see family!
Will you send me these pictures? I think they are so cute. The one of Mom is priceless.
