The girls are getting a bit chunky since they aren't mobile but I sure do love their little chub.
Speaking of walkers the girls are loving our normal walker (not the one shown above, but they do like that one too). They will walk themselves around our tile area and our kitchen and just explore. Eve likes to go to the front door and look out the window. She has also gotten into my fake flowers, so I had to move them because she thinks it is fun to play with them. Sav likes to explore all areas and today she even managed to move the walker onto the carpet in our front room. From there she was pretty much stuck but she still loved it. She was just a jabbering away.
They are both really happy babies if you haven't noticed. I love getting them to laugh and smile at me. You know you are funny when two babies laugh at you. :)
If you look closely at Savannah you can see a glimmer of a bottom tooth in the above picture. This past month both girls have cut teeth. Eve has two bottom teeth that are barely poking up and Sav has just one bottom tooth. Sav's other bottom tooth is close to breaking through but not quite there. I love their gummy smiles where you can see their teeth popping up. I have been trying to get a really good one but I have yet to succeed.
If you haven't noticed they aren't the cleanest eaters when they are hungry, but BOY do these two girls LOVE to eat. I have yet to find baby food they don't like which is really nice. It is quite the challenge feeding them both at once. I have tried to feed them separately but they whine if they realize you are feeding someone and they weren't invited to the party. When they are both in their seats, they also whine when they see a spoon full of delicious food going toward someone else's mouth. My left hand is just not coordinated to have two spoons going at once. I am trying to teach them patience, but so far they haven't caught on to the concept.
Eve and Sav in the tub
These girls love playing in the tub. They love to splash and reach for the toys. They especially love playing with each other. They laugh at each other quite often. I love when one starts laughing and then I hear two cute babies laughing. I have yet to catch it on camera. Usually they stop as soon as I start filming. I'll have to work on that one too!
Since the last time I had so many videos of Sav's cute tricks I thought I would post some of Eve.
Eve laughing as I try to make her dance
Both Eve and Savannah love to dance. They especially like the song I was singing to dance to. I'm sure it is just the movement back and forth but not all songs will make them laugh like this. I think Eve's laugh is super cute!

Eve loves to clap! I swear she just claps all day long. I have been trying to teach Savannah but she has yet to master clapping quite like Eve, even though I do think Savannah is improving with her clapping. Since Eve likes to clap so much whenever she has toys in her hands she ends up knocking them together. She especially likes to do this with the ducks in the bathtub.
Eve clapping on Ben's lap. The child squealing in the background is not Eve that would be Sav (not pictured :))

Such darling pictures. I can hardly wait to see them in person!
ReplyDeleteI loved seeing all these pictures and hearing you describe them even though I see the girls all the time. It's fun to see them through your eyes!
ReplyDeleteugh... sorry.... logged into Brandon's gmail account... this is really Trisha.
ReplyDeleteThey are so adorable and I cannot tell them apart for the life of me! But I love the clapping and laughing videos - so cute. And yes, don't compare to other kids. Kids are so different! Hudson and Roxie are completely different in times they have learned new skills, so it doesn't matter if they are siblings or strangers - your girls are perfect and will learn at their own pace :)
ReplyDeleteThose girls are going to take off one day while you're not looking, haha! The sound of Eve's cute little hands clapping is just so sweet. Twins look like so much fun together! Although I never thought about the complications of feeding them at the same time, lol.
ReplyDeleteI have a new favorite place to come to when I need a laugh! Their laughs are so contagious, they made me laugh right out loud. Thanks!
ReplyDeleteI do think you need to master the two spoons at a time feeding technique - I can just envision me trying it - one child would be relatively clean, while the one on the left would be a disaster! Or maybe I would be looking so much at the one on the left while trying to use the left hand that the one on the right would be a disaster! You are amazing, just add that skill and you would be a superhero status!
I can't believe how much they have grown! They are darling!!! We have to visit soon sorry things have been a little crazy as far as sickness and colds so we try to keep our distance from babies! On the up side Aaron is finally getting tubes tomorrow so hopefully we can come and visit soon! Love the post!!!
