Where does the time go?

The girls are growing so fast! It is amazing to me how much they change each and every day. With my work schedule changing a little lately I have gotten into a much better schedule with the girls.

Here are some things you should know about my cute girls.

Eve:
1. Loves to stand. On her feet is her preferred position. She loves to stand and she is getting better each and every day. She started out pretty wobbly, but now she is getting much better. She has really strong legs. Today, Ben would pick her up and fly her around the room and then set her down random places in the room. Eve would fly and land on the couch, on my lap, on the TV stand. Each and every time her legs were straight out ready to stand, when her dad finally set her down again.
2. Loves to smile. Eve is such a happy baby. She smiles so easily and loves it when you talk to her. She will sometimes whine/cry but as soon as you talk to her she stops crying and begins to smile or coo if you are lucky. I swear the only time she stops smiling is when I try to get out the camera to take a picture of it. She has the best smile. It is a full face smile. I'll have to post a picture once I actually get it documented.
3. Loves to move. When Eve is awake she is always moving or kicking. Today Ben was talking about how even before they were born you could tell their personalities. Someone was always moving in my belly and one side was pretty mellow. Ben and I think the active side was Eve and the less active side was Savannah.

Savannah:
1. Loves to snuggle. Savannah loves to be held and to snuggle up to you. I have thoroughly enjoyed this. I love when we get to snuggle and just relax on the couch. Lately since I am only working at nights, I get to have nap time with the girls. There is really something about having a sleeping baby on your chest and Savannah is a great snuggler.
2. Loves to smile. Savannah also has an amazing smile! She is not as free to give it to people, but once you get her to smile you won't forget it. She also is starting to goo/coo more. My favorite is when Savannah likes to play during eating. She thinks it is the best time to smile and play games with Mom and Dad. As soon as you put the bottle in her mouth she will just smile and not suck at all. This usually goes on for a bit. I think Savannah thinks playing with mom and dad is definitely more fun than eating. I truly love when she is like that and loves to play (even though at 4am it becomes less cute, it is still cute).
3. Loves to take everything in. Savannah is so content on just sitting on your lap and taking everything in around you. She just looks and stares at things. She loves the bouncer that my mom's friend let us borrow. The bouncer has toys that hang from it and Savannah is finally enjoying staring at the new toys. She also enjoys the sounds the bouncer makes whenever she moves. Unlike Eve, Savannah doesn't enjoy her feet as much. She is slowly warming up to the idea, but standing is definitely not her favorite past time.

I can't believe how much they are growing and progressing. I wish they would stay young. I keep telling Ben that I have to take advantage of the snuggling phase because eventually they won't want to do that anymore :(.

  3. You forgot to mention how much Savannah loves the Bumbo... well, maybe 'love' is too strong of a word.

  4. CHERISH EVERY MOMENT! They are still fun as 2 year olds, but nothing compares to that cuddly smiley baby.
