Apartment

I don't know what it is but I have yet to write on this thing on a regular basis. I think the only way I will get around to it is if I start doing it on Sundays, when we are in town of course. So I know I promised pictures of our lovely place, so here it goes.

Here is our Living Room:

I absolutely love these couches. After living in apartments for the last couple of years I definitely appreciate having a comfy couch.

Here is our entertainment center along with our TV. I absolutely love the entertainment center. It is a dark wood, which you will see scattered throughout our apartment. Lately I have this kick for dark wood :).

Our Kitchen:

The kitchen is definitely small. I miss having loads of cupboard and counter space, but I guess that is something I will have to get used to.
The Bathroom:

I know you really didn't need to see this, but I absolutely love the towel rack that we got for our wedding. In our bathroom there wasn't anywhere to hang towels, weird I know. So this has come in handy.
Our Bedroom:
I absolutely love our bedroom. It is a little bit small, considering we got a king sized bed, but I really do like the way everything turned out.


Overall, I really like our new apartment. There are some things I have definitely gotten used to, like having limited counter space in the kitchen. There are also some things that I have not gotten used to.

I have realized that I HATE earwigs. Every morning when we leave for work about 5-10 earwigs come into our apartment. We then proceed to kill all of them before leaving the apartment. We bought some bug spray from Wal-mart and that has helped, so I thought our troubles were over. Today when I was cooking dinner, I got out the potatoes (which we keep in our pantry) and started to peel them. I was on my first one when I saw an earwig in the sink. I screamed and dropped the potato. Ben came and I proceeded to tell him that he needed to go through the potato bad and find potatoes that didn't have earwigs in them. :( Needless to say we found some potatoes that the earwigs hadn't attacked yet and we threw the rest out. My hate of earwigs has now grown larger. Ben is going to spray the inside of the apartment tomorrow so hopefully we won't find any more.
